I have a 820-00165 that has digital audio distortion. The sound starts out ok then becomes digitally staticly garbled and fades out with some click click then will come back. Any ideas?

Try first known good LIO board and flex.
Audio codec is placed on LIO board.
Both speakers sound bad?
Try one at a time.
Check stable power at U6410.

Both speakers. Is digital sounding failure distortion speakers are good.
voltage stable at U6410
Have replaced the DC-IN and ribbon (no change)

Then could PCH related issue.
Inspect first LIO connector from MLB.
Also check if R1310-13 have correct values.
