I think i have good news! i soldered a bigger wire to smc_onoff, and PM_SLP_S5_L and PM_SLP_S4_L are consistently responding to rapid triggering s5 goes to 0.002 and s4 goes to 0.03 consistently.
However PM_SLP_S3_L is not responding at all. it's dead

On DC scale you must get more than 1V, normally more than 2V pulse when trigger it...

PM_PWRBTN_L reacts and drops from 3.4v to 0.3v. is that close enough?
That's good, but you must get more evident reaction at sleep signals.

so oscilloscope is necessary now?
If you cannot confirm sleep reaction, start checking basic signals for PCH.
