have a 00165 that presents no prior liquid damage or technical work that works and posts intermittently. when it posts, vcore is present. when it doesn't, vcore and pp5v_S4RS3 are not present, yet the fan spins (not fast) for about 30 seconds. However, when it does post, the fan goes to full (obviously with the tp disconnected) and runs ok. Ideas? (when it doesn't post, 3v42, g3h are all present.)

When doesn't post, can you check if any signal pulses?
Like PM_SLP_S4_L, PM_SLP_S3_L, 3V3_S5, 5V_S3, ALL_SYS_PWRGD...

They all run fine at first, but when it goes to non post, it drops from 3.3v (PM_SLP_S4_L for instance), to .58 v then to 0
PM_SLP_S5_L is present on these 30s when fan still spins?
If it really spins, because 5V_S3 is needed...
