Boots into OS fine.
Wifi present
Bluetooth not available.

U3510
5: 3.4 V
10:0 V
9: 0V

diode mode pins 9, 10, 6 and 7 all show no short

There is what appears to be a broken trace between PIN 10 and the via which I assume is
the via to J3501 PIN 17

scraped away the corrosion and exposed the via stem
jumper from pin 10 on U3510 to the via stem

USB ports work fine (both)
WIFI is good.
Still no bluetooth.

Bad U3510?
I have one from another board but it does not look very good either.

I should be seeing voltage on pin 10 U3510 correct?

U3510
1: 0 V
4:3.32 V
5:3.32 V
Tried another airport card off ebay

Continuity using diode mode
10 and J3501 PIN 17: GOOD so my jumper looks good
9 and J3501 PIN 16: GOOD

Check voltage and diode mode readings on pins 6/7 and 9/10.
You can also remove U3510 and bypass these pins...

Can you explain what you mean by:

You can also remove U3510 and bypass these pins...

VOLTAGES:
6: 0
7: 0
9: 0
10: 0
4: 3.4
5: 3.4

That can't be good.

DIODE:
6: 0.40V
7: 0.40V
10: 0V
9: 0.70V

So you have 29 ohm to ground at USB_BT_CONN_P?
"10: 0V"
Does this mean 0.000 in diode mode?
I was expecting 0.015-0.030 in diode mode, for 29 ohm...

Check there removing airport card too.

BTW, you didn't put "V" for voltage, but for diode mode; any reason for that???
Always post diode mode in format xxx, if less than 1.000; we will understand 0.xxx for sure (no V needed).
