820-00165 no green light PPBUS_G3H 0.5V SMC is hot. no signs of any damage

this just came in today, not really keen on changing the smc but its probs cooked by now. I'm getting PPDCIN_G3H PP3V42_G3H is 2.35V

PPBUS_G3H is not constant. it drops out to 0.007V after about 30-60 seconds

Such low voltage on 3V42 and hot SMC point to dead SMC.
Remove SMC and get correct 3V42 first.
Also must get 8.2V at F7140; before solder new SMC.

Check for a short on PP3v42. Inspect all components near the SMC.
