Clean board, works most of the time, when it doesn't work there is no light on the charger or sometimes it only shows green light but battery is disconnected or not fully charged.

I replaced U7100 and worked for a day but it is back to the same problem now.

Thanks!

Any history available, liquid damge?

Did you test known good LIO flex/board?
Inspect LIO connector for corrosion.
Check continuity for 3V42_G3H and SYS_ONEWIRE, between MLB and LIO board.

No liquid damage, LIO connector looks fine but the outer bronze part is slightly bent, tested with different LIO cable and IO board, same problem.

And not there is no
continuity between 3V42_G3H and SYS_ONEWIRE

I didn't expect to check continuity between these two lines; good to know is not.
Check continuity for each line between MLB and LIO side; when LIO flex connected, of course!!!

Thanks, however when the problem happens (no light at all or only green light on charger) the MacBook Air doesn't turn on, if I connect and disconnect the charger multiple times nothing happens either and no power, if I remove the board from the case and test sometimes it works fine but suddenly it will stop working with same symptoms.

In case someone new like me wonders what MLB is I think it is Main Logic Board, LIO board is where the charger connects, LIO flex is the flex cable that connects to the MLB and LIO board.

I know to some this is obvious but for newbies it is not.

If board turns on alone on the desk, but not in the case, try connecting/disconnecting peripheral cables/devices one by one.

Funny I did that right before you posted.

The board finally went dead again allowing me to measure continuity for 3V42_G3H and SYS_ONEWIRE, between MLB and LIO board and all that was fine.

What I found was that all they way to U7090 everything measured fine, but after U7090 voltages were much lower than normal, so I replaced U7090 left the board alone for a few hours (that is how the problem will come up) and even today after a complete day the board is working fine.

This one is done, thanks for your valuable help.
