hello i have a1466 no power no fan spin
got orange light
found abit corroded on RP2701
i just remove this then i clean the pads but still
cant on.
tried smc bypass no but no fan spin.
SMC_ONOFF_L 3.4v

PPBUS_G3H is 12.56

PP3V3_S0 missing

u7400 also corroded
voltage and diode to ground value:
6 0.0v 0.637
12 0.0v 0.411
16 0.0v 0.437
17 0.0v 0.495
i tried replace u7400 came from a1502 board still getting 0V on pin 6 12 16 17

So missing PM_SLP_SUS_L, no reason to search for S3/0 voltages.

Check S5_PWRGD, PM_DSW_PWRGD, PCH_DSWVRMEN, PM_BATLOW_L and all PCH's RTC signals.

not sure wheres all pch's rtc signal

I hope this "How to" collection will help our members. I will possibly modify this post in time, if updates available. Trigger SMC_ONOFF_L (PMU_ONOFF_L): It reffers to simulate power button function, when the keyboard is not connected. We need to do this when we work with the board...

This looks like PCH issue.
Put quality flux and heat it, in case of accumalated crap underneath.
180-200 degrees for 15-20s is good enough; you don't need to melt the balls.
You can heat entire CPU, but PCH area is the target there.
