820-00165 sensor issues

Board came in with liquid damage and a short, after fixing the short board now works, but fans start to run fast after a few minutes of use, the Mac is not slow its just the fans that are loud. I checked the temperature of CPU etc. with MacFanControl and they all seem fine, so I am inclined that this is a sensor issue.

I tested this board on another Mac that has no issues and the problem is the same.

Any pointers on how to check sensors and see what it could be?

So you tried same MLB with good LIO flex/board and good trackpad flex/board?

Did you also try it with another LCD assembly?
If not, disconnect webcam and test again.

The only thing that I put on the good known housing was the MLB all other components are fine as that other MacBook has no issues and yes that includes good trackpad flex/board and screen.

Instal HWMonitor, I think it shows more information.
Check current sensors too, apart of temps.

Check Q5830/60 connections.

Those look clean, around the smc there are similar sensors, I removed those and resoldered them but no luck

Did you check traces continuity???
These sensors are far away of U5800...
