820-00165 Wont go to sleep.

820-00165 If i put it to sleep the screen turns off but fan will keep on spinning and power consumption is the same as if it is still on. after about 10 seconds you can still wake it up but any longer it will never wake up again. Have to force shut down and reboot.
SMC_LID is 3.4v when trying to wake up. Any advice on what i can check?

If backlight goes off when close the lid, the SMC_LID signal acts correctly.
However, be sure it is steady 0V then.
Check U8080 voltages after lid closed.

I finally got this one fixed R1441 Pin 2 pad was corroded .
