This little MacBook come in with no power - no charge issue. Upon plugging into my 61w original apple charger it started charging It now charges. When you turn it on it chimes boot logo and even goes into OS. After some time it shuts down unexpectantly. it usually lasts from 5 seconds to about a minute with no warning.

Is this a software issue? What is the best way of diagnosing such a machine?
Also, I would like to point out that charge port and flex has also been changed and the board has been tested in another chassis to eliminate other hardware possibilities.

Have you guys seen anything like this before?

Boot your USB test OSX and see what happens...

You should try new BIOS, with clean ME.

Any history fault available?
Does it last if started in SMC bypass mode?

usb test usb does same thing.
interesting - in OS i booted. went to safari put on you tube watch video in full screen 15-20 minutes no problem. I exit full screen scroll up and down machine turn off.
no other history known. smc bypass is with power button extend press?

Put good flux and reflow CPU.
New BIOS with clean ME is still an option...

unfortunately no history but no sign of drop or liquid. I have artifacting after running one hour at login screen small green line

You should have RAM, or CPU issue.
That board is so small, that you will probably finish reballing it completely.
Be aware with the hot air, you can destroy it...

So what temp reflow.. for CPU?

200 Celsius degrees should be good, if you want to burn the crap only (undernearh BGA chips).
This also requires to use quality flux.
Enough for an internal issue of the BGAs too.
Melting solders requires 230 degrees, but maybe no need that.

Be aware, I talk about board temps.
To reach these values you need to set up hot air station at 400 maybe, or even more.
