Hi,

I am fairly new at this but i've the following MacBook Air A1466
PPBUS_G3H it present but a little low and i think the SMC stays in reset mode.

I've measured the following power rails:

PPBUS_G3H = 8.20 volts
PP3V42_G3H = 3.416 volts

SMC_RESET_L = 0.754 volts

U5110 voltages:

pin 1 = 3.415
pin 2 = 0.000
pin 3 = 3.414
pin 4 = 2.815
pin 5 = 0.784
pin 6 = 3.399
pin 7 = 3.409
pin 8 = 3.294

I thinking SMC_RESET_L is too low whats causing the SMC to keep resetting? What should i do next?

Diode mode to ground?
Check R5100.
Clean/remove J6100.
Remove R7100 and check voltage again.
If still low, remove U5110 and retest.
SMC is the last option...

Thanks,

checked R5100 which had abnormal values.
Checked J6100, saw a little debris. Cleaned it and the MacBook works again. Thanks!
