This came in with no spill, with a swollen battery and 5V on USB. I'm not finding any shorts. PP3V3_G3H is at 0V. No short. PM_EN_PP3V3_G3H is at 0V. Diode measurement is good at .580. Is this just a damaged U7000?
After sitting for weeks, the first time I plugged it in, it went up to 20V and the CPU heated up. By the time I started testing for voltage is was back down to 5V.
Pins 1 and 8 had some very small amount of varying voltage.
PP5V_S4_X_USBC is measuring around .160 in diode mode whereas PP5V_S4_T_USBC is measuring .220 and PP5V_S4_X_USBC on a good board I have measures .220. Not sure it that would be enough to be concerning but that?s the only difference I can find in diode mode on the power lines around the CD3215 chips.
Ok, got it, didn't realize there were so many. I checked the other LDO outputs. They're the same for each CD3215. .480 .470 and .495. No outliers.
TBA_AUX_DET is at 1.28 V and TBA_VDDA/P are at 2.3V. After letting it sit overnight, it did go back up to 20V again the first time I plugged it in. No current though. TBA_AUX_DET and TBA_VDDA/P were at 5V when it first turned on with 20V.
