820-00281 question, short on c3105

[Mister Motherboard]

I have a 820-00281 that had no 20v, only 5v from the charger and that was cycling.
No pp3v3_g3h but no short on that line.
Found short to ground on c3105
Removed u3100, now short on 3105 is gone and pp3v3_g3h is normal but still no 20v on any of the ports.
I am not familiar with how this board behaves and I do not have another donor board to check with.
Will any of the other ports get 20v with u3100 removed?
I have several u3100 on the way.

You must change the chip, not just remove.
Be aware to use the same code termination.

Yeah have to replace the chip with another all 4 must be installed. Has to be same firmware

What exactly do you mean by code termination? The last few digits after the part number?

No way to reprogram these chips.
You must use the same code; CD3215B03 will not work in place of CD3215C00, for example (nor viceversa).
