820-00281 shorted battery?

Hey there. 2017 A1707 with dead display and battery. USB charger first showed pulsing 5V - 16V in loop. After disconnecting the battery macbook booted, display is obviously dead (flexgate) but external worked.

When reconnecting the battery, USB charger begins to loop again. Found a burnt USB-C port and CB501 was off from one pad. Resoldered but no change for loop.
PPVBAT_G3H_CONN is 12,66V

Is this just a dead battery?

Check Q7030/40 for short between all D-S pins.
Also check resistance (ohm scale) over C7020/23.

Sorry, what's D-S pins? I guess you mean the pins of Q7030/40 - no shorts

C7020/23 0.00Ohm

All the pins are marked on the schematic; D1, S1, etc.
Need to check between any D-S pair.
Check the same for Q7065.

Q7065 no short. Pin 5 is one pin on the schematics but 4 real pins on the chip, is that correct?
All pins O.L.
Pin 1-3 .373 diode
Pin 1 & 5 .427 diode

P.S. Can i use A2141 Display Panel for this A1707?

You should test with known good battery.

No, one port from JB500 doesnt work at all. Macbook is booting from all other ports.

You should solve that problem first.

I thought i did with all 3 ports booting the machine. How to proceed?

Post some readings (voltage and diode mode) from non working port.
Compare values with other good port.
