820-0045 kernel panic

The board is experiencing frequent kernel panics during boot and occasionally also during normal operation (once it managed to boot successfully).

We are suspecting the problem to be CPU or SMC related. There are no signs of water damage.

CPU is the first culprit on this board.
It works without fan support, so do not expect a long life for it.
Usually gets bent with some broken balls..

Is reflowing/reballing a working solution? or should it be replaced. We have alot of similar cases with the 12 inch ones...

Some peoples claim board worked after put it on IR oven.
On the forum is a link about how to reball it even.
But this will only help in case of broken balls.
An internal problem, generated after long time use without proper cooling system, can be solved for short time, or maybe not at all.
