There was 5V and 0.01A
Board had tiny liquid damage on U8220 and C8220.
Both components replaced and board only had 20V and 0.15A.
With battery connected it was at only 5V.

Replaced U7000 now got 20V with battery at around 1.2A

Board only got 20V 0.18A.
N0 chime, no caps lock light, USB activity OK.

Board only:
PPBUS_G3H 13.01V
PP3V3_G3H 3.4V
3V3_S5 3.31V
PP3V3_S5 3.3V
PP3V3_S0 3.31V
PP5V_S0 5.11V


On thermal camera U2800 gets around 60C-70C and U8900 50C.

Any idea where to start?

Don't confuse between power and activity.

What is CPU core voltage after 10s?

Sorry, it was USB power.

PPVCCCPU_S0G after 15 secondesdrop from to 0.962V to 0.644V.

Looks like board boots.
Still no Caps Lock reaction?
Just in case, try PRAM reset and check USB activity.
