USB redriver chip fails a lot on these boards; many threads about it on the forum.
But is first time when someone found it bad when USB power ports switch to 20V; really strange.
We have to note this issue; thanks for feedback.
 
It really Is , I am keeping an eye on it to see if There will be any side affects it shows that it is charging but not showing the battery percentage as customer did not provide the password to unlock it .So let's keep an eye on it , I think some of those issues can also be detected via Thermal camera as they do provide heat.

Thanks again I will keep you in the loop if it's fully working.
 
I don't have one here with me , I will have to order one , I am not that familiar with them , Maybe i would need to replace back the Q7030 And Q7040 To their original ones , Would you suggest that?

No need to replace them, if you changed with equivalent.

You can find lot of information on Internet (including videos), about how to create preinstalled macOS pendrive.
Be aware, is not easy to find good pendrives; many of times are too slow, even being marked as USB 3.1 :(.
Better to use an SSD with SATA to USB 3.1 adapter.
 
Ok, sometimes I realize that some of the chips pulled off the donors are not 100% working that was why I said that, but so far the macbook is charging but i am still skeptical as its pulling 20,39 watts now and 0.95 amps but battery is half way charged. I tried to disconnect the charger and its staying on .
 
Now I just shut the macbook down and I disconnected the USB charger, the battery is charged at 69% but as soon as i power it on without the USB charger connected , it boots half way with the apple logo than power off , then when i press the power button it would ask me to connect the charger, what do you suggest in that case , Can a bad battery does that?
 
I was able to get a hold of the passcode and indeed the system is saying that the battery needs replacement , therefore I informed the customer and he stated Yes he s well aware of that so i am getting a new replacement battery to complete the repair process, Thank you so very much .
