820-00840 no SSD

Voltage on J8600/ 1 and 56 is correct.

Found low diode more reading on SSD_BOOT_L = 0.014V (should be around 0.780V).
Removed all caps on that line C8675-77 and still low value.

Then removed R1442 and on pad 2 still low value so fault in PCH?

R1442 can't cause lower reading; it is a pull-up resistor.

I suppose that you reffered to SSD_BOOT_CONN_L.
If R8642 is not used, U8640 is the suspect.
If U8640 is not in place, you should lift R8642 for test; not touching above mentioned components at all.

Fitted rest of components, lifted R8642 and still got 0.014V in diode mode on SSD_BOOT_L

Any other idea?
