Hi all!

Have this board with a not working trackpad

After inspecting the board i saw that L4800 is melted - no courant that goes to trackpad. It also damaged the tracks under it as well as it have damaged 4830 but not sure if the damage is purely cosmetic or if i will have to find this one some where.

My question is: is L4800 mandatory or it can be bypassed? Any idea what could cause that? The board look clean and the trackpad as well, but i see that some one already played with the screws of track pad... not sure if the one installed is the original or a replacement.

Thank you!!

L4800 can be bypassed with tiny wire.
First be SURE, no short on J4801 side (C4800 pads), w/ and w/o trackpad connected.

74LVC1G08 is the base code you need to search for, in SOT891 case.
It can be found in many older MacBook boards.
Just do a search in pdf schematics of your scrap boards.

Yes, exactly how i was searching for it but i onpy have 3 board and its newer board (2018+) witch does not have this chip.. anyways, ordered online, hopefully will be here soon
