820-00923 20v 0.78A No USB activity CPU code 1V

[No-Clean]

Clean board, had 2 caps on PP5V_S4 getting hot but not full short, after removing them and installing new U7560 I got 20V on charger but CPU core voltage does NOT go from 1V to 0.6 Tried good known bios with Medusa 3 also but same thing.

Probably CPU internal problem.
You can try to heat with quality flux, in case of accumulated crap underneath.

Did you test the board alone on the desk?

Tried the flux trick, same problem.

Yes, all my test and measurements are done with the board alone unless I need to test something else additionally.

If you can't find any damaged component in the CPU area, then CPU should be bad...
