Hey all I have a A1706 here no liquid and just started flashing folder. I'm using the 820-00239 view.
U8600 is getting very hot to the touch.
Here are some voltages hope this makes sence.
PP0V9_SSD_REG 0.9
PP1V8_SSD_COLD 1.8
PP3V3_S5_SSD 3.3
PP1V2_SSD_COLD 1.2
PPVIN_2V7_NAND_LB 12.13
PP1V2_SSD_HOT 1.2
PP1V8_SSD_HOT 1.8
PP3V3_2V7_NAND_VCC 3.3

Hope I'm starting to supply the correct info! Thank you

I bet the schematic link was already posted on the forum.
Check this, just in case.

"PPVIN_2V7_NAND_LB 12.13"
Incorrect PPBUS_G3H, so you have another problem on the board.

Post J9600 voltages; pins 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 36, 46.
Be sure to have good contacts at J9600.

I now have 13.1 v on g3h and on the nand line. U8600 is getting hot :(
I'm going to check for shorts around there.
Thank you sofar for your input.

I have a pp0v9 short_ssd_reg short!
Dont see any bad looking caps of off stuff.
I removed L9321 and L9320 to make sure it wasnt the other line. And it stayed where it was,
I'm thinking U8600, but are there any common places this line shorts before I go digging at that chip? Thank you

Yes injected 1v and only get to 5a but it got hot. Couldn't touch it.
Can we source this chip?

You must make stock buying bulk from Aliexpress, 2-3 boards for several models.
You can get better price contacting sellers directly.

Yes we do that now. 8 weeks is long time to wait for a board to come to Canada :( thank you for your help!!
