Hi,
I have that board that had a prior repair.
Originally when I got it, board would have PM_SLP_S4_L but not the PM_SLP_S5_L.
The previous tech had tried to rework the U7420 CPU mosfet (so yeah I know, CPU is probably dead) and some other areas.
I did replace those 2 mosfets (U7420 U7410 + U7100 just in case)
I did replace the PMIC and got back PM_SLP_S5_L
Now it's stuck at 0.83A (20V) but it is not posting.
Here are some measurements:
CPUVR_PGOOD 3.3V
PM_PCH_PWROK 3.2V
PM_RSMRST_L 3.3V
P1V0PCH_PGOOD 3.3V
ALL_SYS_PWRGD 3.15V
PVCCIO_PGOOD 3.2V
P1VSUS_PGOOD 3.3V
P1V8SUS_PGOOD 3.3V
P1V0PCH_PGGOD 3.3V
P5VS4_PGOOD 3.3V
P2V7NAND_R 2.67V
PPVCCEDRAM_S0_REG_R 1.05V
The Bios hasn't been messed with apparently.
Which signal should I be looking at?
PS: my known good board will start at 0.8A but then slowly decrease in amperage when the screen finally turns on.
That one is stuck at 0.8A for 20s and then dies at 0A.
