Hi, when I connect the board to the usb c it makes the transition from 5v to 19.4v but is only getting .026 A. Don´t know where to start on this models... please help!
Practically same signals and voltages like old boards, for power on sequence.
But now PMIC is involved too.
Do you get 3V3_S5/SUS?
What about PCH's RTC signals?
I don´t have PP3V3_G3H, there is a weird thing, on D6902 at both pins I get low voltages going further down while powered on and with a .025A consumption.
Another weird thing is that I replaced U7000 and while the board was still a little hot, it went to its normal .700A of consumption, I disconnected and changed to the other port and it just got .025A, then return to the same port in which it turned on and again getting .025A. What could be happening?? Should I inject voltage on that line to see if there is something wrong?
UPDATE: waited a few minutes and connected it to the usb c port which worked the first time, it went to .700A, connected it to the other usb c and goes to .025A and 0A repeatedly. If I go back to the usb c which worked right away it starts doing the same behavior...
Picture 1 = Connected the usb c after a couple hours that I left the board on my desk
Picture 2 = Disconnected the usb c and reconnected it a few seconds after it was on
** values taken when it was at .026 A**
New discovery...
when I connect the usb c it seems to charge some capacitor or something on the line PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_R because right when I disconnect the charger, if I measure for continuity on that line, it has continuity to ground but after a couple seconds it goes away and in that case the board will start on any of the usb c ports, I just need to make sure that the short is gone and if I connect it, it will work... I just don´t know how to figure what is making that happen...

yes all usb c where doing the same, I started removing capacitors on the line PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_R and now it hasn´t turned on it is only getting .025 A and down to 0 A again...
Thanks for the patience vali!, ok, so when I connect the charger I get 5v inmediatly, whenever it does the transition to 19.4v it goes to 1v and then starts to drop...
