U7000 requires correct communication with SMC, to generate correct PPBUS_G3H voltage.
Injecting voltage into a power rail where you don't have short, or incorrect resistance to ground, doesn't help at all.
Did you test the board with known good battery (holding some charge)?
I think that was already mentioned on the forum as being normal.
This is one of the reasons I said the people to read EACH forum thread and take notes when important information appears!
In case of 5V cycle, you should check for short, or low value on all secondary power rails.
However, I'm afraid you have a lost caused here, because of liquid damage...
I did not understand what you said. The question is, the capacitor in the place I marked is short-circuited. But I can't see it in boardview. How do I find where it is connected?
I said we have another thread on the forum mentioning this.
So that is normal short reading for that cap!
No idea about its purpose, as is not present in schematic, nor boardview.
