820-00928 and 820-00281 No USB activity and PPVCC_S0_CPU never drops voltage

Clean boards all voltages are present including PPVCC_S0_CPU but that voltage never changes and there is no USB activity, on a good board PPVCC_S0_CPU drops from either 0.9V to 0.6V on the 00281 boards and drops from 1.1V to 0.7V on the 00928 boards, I will like to find out what to check on this boards before giving them back to customers, I know this CPUs fail a lot and will like to make sure for sure that the CPU is dead.

Try known good BIOS first.

I did on both of them, same exact result.

Then should be something related with PCH, CPU, or even GPU.

Did you test in safe mode?

I did not test in safe mode, one of them had a different behavior and it would go up to 1Amp + and stay there, the other one had a more normal amperage.
