This arrived with liquid damage in the UB300 area. Rest of the board was unaffected. After cleaning up area board powers on now but no image on internal or external. Internal does however get backlight and caps light works after a few minutes.

Can this be U9800 issue even though only the ub3000 area was hit with liquid??

Something else was affected by liquid for sure.

Did you try known good compatible screen?
Also test external video disconnecting internal LCD.

Yes tried known good compatible screen and external video testing was done while internal LCD was disconnected.

Rest of the board looks pristine

The data on the board is important for the customer. Using Apples special tool the SSD chips are getting warm but no drive is showing up

PP1V8_SSD_DRAM 1.8v

PP3V3_SSD_LIM. 3.3v present

Anything else to check or sound like bad SSD??

If Caps Lock light reacts, board is not stuck.
So should be able to enter Target Disk mode, even nothing will appear on its screen.
If you can't see it in the other computer, then bad SSD too.
