I'm working on a 820-01041-A which came with a diagnosis of liquid damage. The liquid damage was treated unprofessionally and the indications of the damaged areas have largely disappeared. A few areas was untouched and still corroded ...
- RB631, RB641 The pads of PPBUS_G3H was gone, i made a jumper wire
- arround U8800, C8832, C8848 etc.
- C9080, C9081, C9074, Testpad ofPPBUS_G3H_SSD0_SNS near C9081/1
- arround U8900, C8948, C8932
- U9419, C4916
- DB528, DB554, DB549, L8504 was ripped off

The board stucks at 65mA and is booting into Recovery Mode. Recovery is alway stopping at step4 with an error message like ...
AMRestoreErrorDomain-Fehler -1 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg (Generic error)) [AMRestoreErrorDomain – 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF (-1) [sys = 0x3F, sub = 0xFFF, code = 0x3FFF (16383)]

The S5 rails are missing. The SSD rails are ok, here are my measurements ...
PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 = 2.52v
PP0V9_SSD0 = 9.00v
PP1V8_SSD0 = 1.80v

If it would help i can give informations from thermal cam - what gets warm while Recovering.

I was able to fix the board. I made a mistake trying to restore the naked board outside the machine. This is probably not possible - I did not know that.
After installing the board and connecting everything, the recovery went through without errors and I was able to reinstall the system.

Maybe I'm the only idiot trying to restore a naked board. Otherwise this information may help someone else.
