820-01041 A1990 Touch Bar Not Turning on

Hi All, Hope you all Safe,

This is liquid damaged macbook. Nto much. CC976 replaced due to one side burnt.

I get PPBUS_G3H 12.6V,
PP5V_S5 5V,
MISSING PP3V3_S5. Not Shorted.

In U7800 I get,

PP3V3_G3H_SOCPMU 3.3v
PP3V3_G3H_RTC_X 3.3v
PP1V1_SLPS2R 1v
PP1V8_SLPS2R 1.8v
PP3V3_AWAKE
PMU_ONOFF_L 3.3v
PM_SLP_S5_L 0V

board is pretty clean. No liquid contacted near U7800

Try to put in DFU restore mode.

Hi 2Info thank you for your reply. Tried with DFU mode failed saying " device is not in recovery mode".

Read the forum.
Many people had problems and posted usefull information.
Sometime takes time and many tries to put it in recovery mode...

Hi 2info, What I found, the Macbook you run configurator 2 need to have same osx as the macbook you need to restore. also it didnt work straightaway. I had to try couple of times.
