820-01041 kernel panic sleep wake issue

system crashing, was able to boot into safe mode and turn off sleep setting, MacBook is on and working but not sellable in this condition, wondering if there is a fix for this, it is a very common issue ,

Seems to be GPU related issue.
Did you try to reinstall the macOS?
You can also try DFU restore.

Just in case, check SMC_LID_LEFT/RIGHT and IPD_LID_OPEN signals, when close/open the lid.

just got home from work, laptop is still on, but in safe mode, sleep settings have been changed, so i restarted, unit is still crashing, if i hold shift key it will boot normal, prob still gpu issue, but figured i would add new info that it only loads in safe mode, not sure if that points to a different issue

In safe mode GPU driver is not loaded.
That explains why stays on...
