Hi,

got this device, there was a liquid spill on the Keyboard connector and a short, so I had to remove the connector and scratch 2 holes in to the board until the short was gone

Now I have 20V and 0.000A. I found in the net that probably T2 not talking to the PMU correctly.

PP3V3_G3H_SOCPMU is present
PP3V3_S5 is missing

I assembled the device, connected to the accu and by shorting SWK003 during inserting power cable I got the board in the DFU Mode. But it stuck forever in the middle of step4 -installing .. -

I checked R4036 both sides have in diode mode about .450 but when the device is working there is no power to measure
same with R4037 (edit: found out it is still in RECOVERY MODE, perhaps because of this?)

How can I check if the PMU still alive or do you suggest to replece it? How is the best way to check if the T2 is good?

PPBUS_G3H is 11.15V
PP1V8_SLPS2R is present 1,8V
PP0V9_SLPDDR is present 0.91V
PP1V1_SLPS2R is present with 1.11V
PPVDDCPU_AWAKE is 0.76V
PP0V82_SLPDDR is 0.83V
PPVDDCPUSRAM_AWAKE is 0.81V

for me the PMIC seems to be ok

and with a bad T2 DFU is not working I think.

need some help here please

i found out that it is only needfull to connect the Accu and then short the SWK003 to force the DFU mode.
but until now I allways only got the recovery mode. dont know how to get the DFU again?

I used like I decribed above external switch method. Now by playing with the on off switch I am able to force DFU mode

but the main problem is still the same it stucks in almost half way in step 4

PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 is 2.53V stable all the time

yes, thats what i thought but now the short is gone.
i need this come to work to save the user data
if there is no chance can that be sucsessfull to take a working board and to replace the nands, the cpu, the t2 and the wifi modul?
but that is riski and a lot of work. thats why i thought to get this to work anyhow
