Ok checked at the test pad for the other cd3217 (u3100) and both are reading 0.638 diode mode so it looks like both aren’t short at least. Haven’t got a second working board but am thinking of getting some 1598 donors off Ali express. Need to get some tweezers so I might as well get some donors while I’m at it.
