820-0165 MBA A1466 2015 - Slow boot up and Kernel Panic

The device was booting but works normally after bootup. Didn't find any abnormal activity in the monitor. Sometimes crashed with a kernel panic.
- On the MLB found corrosion behind CPU (image attached)
- Cleaned up, still behaving same
- Attaching the crash report.

Please help me with the next steps.

Clean the corrosion and replace any affected components.
There could be accumulated crap underneath PCH.
Heat it with quality flux.

Remove internal SSD and test the machine with USB macOS.

All the above options were tried, no go.

Try known good BIOS, with clean ME region.

Yes, it was a BIOS issue. After trying 2-3 ICs from the doner board, one worked. Later, I reprogrammed it with the right serial number.

Small issue: The keyboard backlight is not working, could that be because of BIOS?
- working fine at OS level, no ? sign.

If you change serial number, must fix Fsys checksum.
Also need to clean ME region.
All can be done with UEFITool; check the forum, or youtube.

The backlight keyboard issue should not be related with BIOS.
Test disconnecting webcam.
