Customer reported A2141 just stopped.
Gets to 20v draw spurious current then quickly settles to 40mA.
No corrosion found.

PPBUS 12.6V
PP3V3_G3H_RTC 3.3V
PP5V_G3S 5.1V
PP1V8_SLP_S2R 1.8V
PP1V8_AWAKE 1.8V
PP3V3_MAIN_PGOOD 3.3V
PM_SLP_S5_L 0V. dm 0.58

NANDS all have 2.5v, 1.8v, 0.9v
PPVCCPRIMCORE_SW1 0V but all other voltages present on inductors around U7800

Found in DFU mode, failed Revive with code 6 with batt conncted. Cust has important data so no restore tried.
I'm out of ideas. Have you any?

Sudden death is many times caused by NAND failure.

Just in case, try DFU revive keeping 3V3_S5 tied to ground.
This will break Intel power on sequence.
