820-01700 Power on but 2 ports not charging ,

Macbook powers on and detects charger but top 2 ports won’t charge, both top ports get 5.15v 0.35a
Bottom ports get 20v, macbook powers on and seems to work perfectly it detects chargers on all ports but won’t charge on top 2 ports, I’ve not had best luck with cd3217 issues so hoping it’s not the chips any suggestions,

Don't you have schematic/boardview to reffer correctly the ports???

Please, put some logic on your job!

Clicking on J3300 pins, you will find which ones go to U3100/200.
Find ones from the edge of connector; will help you to locate the USB-C ports easy.
Take pins 3 & 53 as example.

Do the same for JB500.

that's what u thought, for some reason I thought u wanted different info, anyhow with that said affected ports are ub300 and u3200, both detect charger, both not charging, ports u3100 and ub400 both get 20v and both charge, MacBook powers on normally, and passes all other hardware test

The corresponding CD3217 chips are first suspects.
Not easy to find good chips for 01700 board.
