Have this logic board that won't power up with MagSafe but will successfully charge a completely drained battery to full and also power up with battery. Once the battery is unplugged it won't power up anymore. it does switch from 5v to 20v but never power up without the battery connected. PPBUS_G3H is present @ 12.6v without battery connected and 12.4 with battery.

Minor corrosion around UA800, U5800, C3500, U6400, J6800 PINS 30 to 38 (even side), U7230, UA750. All cleaned up once ran through ultrasonic but power issue still remains. Any suggestions?

I did perform T2 hoth t2 restore and revive.

Final question, now that i have the mac booted up, the SSD is in an uninitialized state. How do i initialize the ssd. I've tried first aid with no lock?

Also T2 revive goes half way and just hangs for a while before it finally runs through and the mac restarts to the question mark folder. The SSD is still seen when i go into recovery mode, it's just uninitialized.

Sorry for the mix up. I had a second board with the exact same power issue which was resolved using the correct power brick. This one I only did the revive with hopes of saving the data. With that being said, do you know of a socket reader that i can use to reach each ssd chip after pulling them off the board?
