Hi. I have an a2338 with liquid damaged. For the most it was minor and cleaned up relatively well. Now the issue is the battery icon has an x when logged in. System report says 0 cycles and service recommended. Fan speed is normal.
Im still pretty new to m1 stuff so here is what i know so far-
Battery connected
Ppvbat_aon - 11.6v
Ppvbat_aon_charger_reg -12.01 v
Ppvbat_aon_chgr_r - 12.01v
Sys detect - 3.3v
I2c_smc_pwr_3v3_scl-2.2v
I2c_smc_pwr_3v3_sda-3.1c

When battery was disconnected i checked chgr_bgate and it was 12.01v

So there was liquid damage on j5151 on pin 2 and 7 and then had detached. I solder them back and some liquid near u5200 so cleaned that and checked for any shorts. None detected.
Also diode mode to ground on sys_detect_l and it was 0.404.

What should i do next?

Check if SYS_DETECT_L has 0V; charger and battery connected.
If yes, check diode mode to ground and voltage on all SCL/SDA lines of UD200/1.
Be sure to have good continuity between UD201 and battery connector.

SYS_DETECT_L -0v
Diode mode red probe on ground
I2C_SMC_PWR_SDA - 0.335
I2C_SMC_PWR_SCL - 0.333
I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SDA - 0.561
I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SCL - 0.568
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SDA - 0.639
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SCL - 0.648

continuity seems ok

volatges -
I2C_SMC_PWR_SDA - 1.3v
I2C_SMC_PWR_SCL - 1.3v
I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SDA - 1.79v
I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SCL - 1.79v
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SDA - 3.1v
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SCL - 2.0v doesnt look ok
ud201_en - 1.9v

Rd207 is 6.7k ohms. I believe its meant to be 4.7k. Also rd208 is also 6.7k. Im going to replace ud201 anyway. Will keep you posted

Replaced ud201 and ud5150 on a whim from a post i read earlier. Battery is detected now and charges.

I am not sure which component replacement fixed it but i would like to believe its ud5150
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SDA - 3.2v
I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SCL -3.2v

This was after i replaced both components.
Thanks for the help.
