got no chip / donor board here. any idea where to get this awesome apple chip?

removed the chip. short is still there...

measured again before injection -> beep

mesaured again after injection .150 in diode mode.


hows that possible? good sign?

0.150 in diode mode is far of short.
Solder new chip and test again.

okay. new chip is on the board.

amp meter shows: 5V / 0.08 - 0.11A unstable

3.8V are there! (PP3V8_AON)


PP5V_S2_MAIN: 2.3V-2.6V unstable.


how can i check that U8100 is soldered on correctly?

Some of them are marked as "NC"; not intereting, of course.
