Hello,

Got this device, Fanspin, no display no trackpad clicking, no extern display, no caps lock led reaction. switches from 5 to 20 and later to 19.xxV like usually so power consumtion looks normal
DFU mode is possible but had no effect

customer told me yesterday still was ok, today not possible to turn on, no liquid...

checked and diconnected the angel sensor, tryed good display,

found PP5V_S2SW_USBC01 has 0V
but UPC01_5V_EN has 0 V

PPBUS_AON 11.96V without batterie only pluged in dcin
PP3V8_AON 3.79V
PP3V3_AON = 3.3V
PP5V_AON_P3V8AON = 4.99V

PP5V_S2_MAIN 5.13V
PP1V2_AWAKE 1.23V

PP3V3_S2 = 3.29V
PP1V8_S2 = 1.8V
PP1V2_S2 = 1.23V
PPVBUS_USBC0 19.98V

PMU_SYS_ALIVE 1.8V
PMU_ONOFF_L = 1.8V

PP0V9_NAND0 = 0.89V
PP1V2_NAND0 = 1.2V
PP2V5_NAND0 = 2.55V

running out of ideas in the moment

connected on the table without batterie I have 20.127V with 0.146 A consumtion

it comes from UF500 and UF400

in schematics page 88

______UPC01_5V_EN__________________________________________ UPC01_5V_EN MAKEBASE=TRUE
______UPC01_5V_EN______________|

IsUPCx_5V_EN being used?

______UPC01_5V_EN_____________________________RF351 xxxx GND

I just thought could be a broken solder ball. So I heted with 100 degree UF500, no changes
then I just bgan to heat up UF400 and the Ampmeter is turning in to black. so the one USBC port now is still ok, switches to 20V without batterie the other has absolotly no reaction on the ampmeter

I reballed the UF400 but still the same

measured in diodemode around UF400 seems to be ok

and I think if switching (connected on the other usbc-port) to 20V so should be UF400 ok and communication with rom and both CD32017 shhould be ok

perhaps should be the problem around the heated area from uf400, so i will check U5500, UF300

found still that DF400 is shortet.
will reball U5500 and UF300 then i will report back about the situation

if someone knows wich signals needs to turn on UPC01_5V_EN ?

"wich signals needs to turn on UPC01_5V_EN ?"
It is driven high when external device is connected to corresponding port; it enables 5V output required by external devices.
