820-2530 not waking from sleep

Hello,
i am working on this old device for a person i know. The board works perfectly find except it mostly wont wake from sleep. I cant figure out what causes this but really rarely it did wake up until it got rebooted (observed this only 2 times). Lid did not need to be closed for this to happen. If i let it sit and its going to sleep on its own and than press a key to wake it up (even power button) it spins the fan on but not more. No Backlight, image, USB-activity,.... Closing and opening the lid did not change that. If i hard reset it (hold power for 8 sec.) and boot it up again it boots into the last open session (must save that to my SSD i guess and think it just woke up...) I tested Snow Leopard, Mavericks and El Capitan, internally and via USB. No change. SMC_LID is 3.3V open, 0V closed. PM_SLP_S3_L is not coming up if it wont wake up. I checked power rails in that state aswell as some signals armoud the MISC section of the MCP that creats PM_SLP_S3_L but everything seems to be fine as far as i can tell. Also i am not sure which signals are interesting/needed in this case. ASD drops sleep-sensor issue. Same with J6955 unplugged. Not sure where to go from here.

It detects lid closing (goes to sleep) and starts the fan when waking up by opening it again but as always thats it (Same behaviour as if i press a key to wake it). White light on SSD cable changes from pulsing to on and stays on if it does that. Seems like its hanging in power up sequence somewhere… During my tests it also worked one time normally. After reboot same issue now again and again…

If i run all tests ASD sends the device to sleep and wakes it up using Internal signals without closing and opening the lid. And this test fails. I swap the SMCs between both boards I have and see if both issues swap with them or if this one may get fixed. As I am working on this just a few hours in the evenings I may need a few days for this. I will report back if I’m done.

Just finished swapping the SMC from my "slow booting" board (from my other post) with the SMC from this board. Good news is both old boards survived that operation but so far no change. This one still wont wake up.

Just out of curiosity ill also reinstall macOS again on the other one to see if its now normally fast but i highly doubt it - if it will ill update the other post...

You've said to get fan spin; powered from 5V_S0.
That is impossible without releasing PM_SLP_S3_L; it enables S0 state.

Yes, it is impossible. I can't reproduce that 100%, but I guess what I did wrong was type PM_SLP_S3_L in open board view search, and it shows everything containing that name. Also PM_SLP_S3_L_INVERT on Q7221 Pin 2 which I think I measured... Sorry for the confusion.
Last thing I noticed during these measurements: The board seems to be working hard if this issue occurs, as it's not spinning the fan at audible rpm but CPU/PCH getting pretty hot...
