Does it charge until 44% and then stuck?
Magsafe light must be orange to charge battery.
If you don't get green at least, never will charge.
Any history available?
Post exact PPBUS_G3H voltage without battery connected; also with charger + battery.
Need U6900/01 voltages too.
Check continuity from U6900 to central pin of Magsafe connector in DCIN board.
Did you try known good DCIN board?

Each one has 5 pins; however, I'm not interested in ground pin voltage.
And voltage of pins 4/5 of U6900 is very important to know.
"why to test with and without battery"
Depending of battery state, should get different voltage!
Check voltage and diode mode to ground on SCL/SDA lines of battery bus.
Percentage indication points to good communication, but is better to confirm.
If all is OK, seems to have a problem with SMC.
In such case, reflow it first; may need to reball, or change it.
Each one has 5 pins; however, I'm not interested in ground pin voltage.

If board reacts after applying heat, could also be PCH problem.
Resolder ISL6259 too.
