Have a 820-2914 that powers on and chimes but no video. Changed GPU with new 16+ from SEE-IC but still have short on GPU vcore. Injected 1V into the power rail but nothing is getting warm. What to try next?
Is that diode mode, or ohm scale.
0.003 in diode mode means 5-6 ohms, depending of multimeter.
In such case, shouldn't be short.
But this board can be tested/used disabling GPU.
Why didn't test disabling dGPU first?
This way discard another problem on board.
This board suffers by GPU issue, but is very easy to test if is just that and no other thing.
