820-2936-B water damage, green light

Getting 1.6v on CHGR_CSO_N, CHGR_BGATE, CHGR_CSO_P
0v on CHGR_BMON
0v on CHGR_AGATE

Replaced U7000 once and it burnt out and I lost the pad on CHGR_CSO_N so there is a now a jumper from that pin of U7000 to C7050.

check value for R7021, R7022, R7051, R7052, also check traces between those resistors, ISL and R7020 and R7050... Resistance between 17/18 should be about 3ohm and between 27/28 should be about 20ohm

R7052 goes down slowly to about 1ohm, 1.6v
R7051 322ohm, 1.6v
R7022 38mohm, 16.8v
R7021 3.9kohm, 16.8v
R7050 0.6ohm, 1.6v
R7020 0.6ohm, 16.8v

The trace between C7050 and pin 17 has been destroyed and has a copper wire going to it now. All other traces seem fine

I hope you are not measuring resistance with power applied.... see schematic and tell me if the resistance value of each resistor is right....

Aprendiz, no power whilst measuring resistance.

Duke, I did compare and then did the following based on that:

I'd already swapped out R7022 and R7021 before I saw your message, and then swapped out R7051. I got an orange light and it was charging for a couple of minutes then all of a sudden the mouse moved very laggy and the orange light went off. ISL6259 is now getting very hot when the power is plugged in. Also, it appears my charger died during all this. I have another though. Any particular readings you want me to take at this point, bearing in mind that ISL6259 is getting very hot very quickly?

I bet the charger just tripped. Unplug and wait.
ISL probably dead again, replace it and also replace Q7030/35. Check traces to the gates of these FETs too.

Ok, what I'm finding now is that I have continuity between pins 1 and 2 of C7050, even on the pads when I lift the cap off. Remember, CHGR_CSO_N had a jumper going to C7050. Well, even with that jumper off and C7050 off I'm getting a short on the test points of CSO_N and CSO_P. What could be causing that?

Ahhh R7051 is less than the continuity beep! Ok, thanks! Is it ok to use ISL6259A on this board even though the schematic says ISL6259?
