820-2936 battery boot problem

No liquid damage board looks good. If powered on with just the battery alone the progress bar will load almost all the way but just continue to hang. As soon as the machine is plugged in the boot process finishes seconds later. Battery is good.

Does this sound like BIOS issue or U7000?

Did you try known good battery (even old), or just "new"?

Does the same behavior with 3 different batteries. Batteries work and boot fine in other MacBook

Did PRAM reset?
You can try BIOS, just in case.
