820-3115-b no PP5V_S3

[PPVCC_S0_CPU]

hi, i have a 820-3115-b which is not turning, but there is green light in charger.
i have measured following voltages:
ppbus_g3h is around 12.43v
PPVRTC_G3H is 3.3v
smc_on_l is 3.3v
but pp5v_s3 is missing.
i have tried changing u7200 but it didn't fixed it, also the pch is getting hot when magsafe is connected to it.
board have no history of liquid damage.

Looks like bad PCH, if gets hot in off state...
Do you get correct 3V3_SUS, 5V_SUS, 3V3_S5?

Yes sus voltages are present, i think its pch as its getting boiling hot

PCH has no reason to get hot in S5 state, when is powered only from 3V3_S5, 3V3_SUS and VCCRTC...
Sometime RTC block fails and sink to much current.
Your PCH is dead...

Yes but you have to clean the ME region. More of a time waster/rainy day project

For the price of a new PCH, I don't recommend to bother you reballing old one.
New PCH also requires clean ME region...
