after U1800 reflow , the board is now turning ON during 15 seconds then stops........
I don't remember if I already passed it in the UC.......I think that it will take a bath in the UC......
I'll let you know thanks
Hi ,
Passed that board in the UC, and the board started few times but without PPVCORE_S0_AXG_R but PPVCORE_S0_CPU_PH1 and PPVCORE_S0_CPU_PH2 were present.
finally the board started to act like before: quarter fan spin.....
I will reflow U1800 again and see
AXG voltage appears if you open Youtube, or a graphic application.
If you get VCORE after UC, should be problem generated by crap under BGA chips.
Reflow SMC, PCH and CPU with good flux; or use IR oven for entire board.
Test it and clean again on UC...
Is the original BIOS of the board?
No, as the board was doing quarter fan spin those past weeks, I've decided to write another one and cleaned ME and rewrited the SN with the medusa......
But thta's right, as the board is now turning ON, I can piut back the original dumped bios......
I've run ASD, this one went alsmost to the end ( Memory 62 Test ) but the board turned OFF approximatively 15 mins running with Fan at full speed.
In the mean time ASD poped up with PBUS Voltage Sense & Enable (VP0R) in red claiming that the PBus voltage was under the lower limit.
Once it shuts itself down, the board pulls 0.030A, After what the board doesn't start itself when I plug the charger, I have to press the Power button, but unfortuantrly it stays ON only few seconds.
but If I let it for long time not connected ( like all caps are discharged ) and replug the charger, it will turn ON it self.
I've noticed that the board is getting hot on the opposite side of C7540 C7561 area: which is Q7510 Q7520 area and related to CPU High Side Current Sense (IC0R) and PPVIN_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS.
What do you think?
I've scratched the Vsense Pad shown with the arrow, and check for continuity to the R5488/89: NOK
So I decided to put some solder there for attaching a wire, after putting solder, I mesured the continuity again and was OK, but still shuting itself down.
Reflowed SMC, then I've lost PPBUS: 12.29V: SMC not talking to ISL + No green Light
Reflowed again: PPBUS 12.60V OK, Green Light OK
Attached wire because after reflow, no continuity
Now quarter fan spin once, like back to the beginning, but mesuring 2.105V at the pointing arrow
