820-3115 power cycling and I don't know why.

Right now im thinking the CPU is dead. There was corrosion on the fets and C7523 was burned. It worked fine in inital testing but I have a feeling it was dying all along. That would explain the power cycling as of right now. This one is a thinker...

I pulled the SMC per Chris Long's suggestion while discussing on live stream and sure enough there was crap under it. New preballed chip on the way.

It beeped so the CPU is fine. There is corrosion somewhere, maybe under PCH or corroded resistor/trace in the damaged area. New SMC will be fine. You are sure it is the correct one for this board?

Yes this is the correct SMC for the board. Not seeing anything as far as a damaged resistor or trace. I am going to go through and check all the SPI term resistors as liquid was in that area. I also took the edge bonding off the PCH and I am going to USC it again.

Well customers deadline was today (Local shop). I ultrasonic'd it again but this time i took the edge bonding off the PCH. Looked really really good for a corroded trace or resistor. Nothing. Board looks perfect. Gave it back and am kinda glad to have this one out of my shop. Thanks for your help Duke. You can mark this one as closed.
