Good morning , this mac had oxidation close to Smc, more precisely Q5480 replaces it, I did reball in SMC and used another BIOS dump and another BIOS chip, but nothing solved it.

Voltage: PPbus_g3h 12.6V; pp3v42_g3h 3.49V; PM_SLP_S3_R_L is oscillating, ALL_SYS oscillating between 0 and 3v when the cooler turns.

PPVCORE_S0_CPU 0v, pulseless.
R7403/02 180K and 150K.
u7400 pin 1 12.37v; pin 2 12.41V;

The cooler is no longer rotating.
It does not accept SMC deviation.
Substitutes SMC, but no result.

3V3_S5 3,32 V/SUS 3,31 V
PP3V3_S0 0.15V, oscillating 3.3V
PP3V3_S3 1.12V, oscillating 3.22V

So you get pulsing S3, even S0 voltages.
Check them all: big coils and pages 71/72.
Any pulse at ALL_SYS_PWRGD?

L7030 12.72V
L7260 0V, oscillating 4.65V
L7220 3.33V
L7330 0.13V, oscillating 1.14V
L7760 0V, oscillating 1.71V
L7770 0v, oscillating 1.06V

PP3V3_ENET_PHY 0v, oscillating 3.16V
P1V8S0_COMP 0v, oscillating .70V
PP1V05_S0 .16V, oscillating .94V
PP3V3_S4 0v, oscillating 3.18V
PP3V3_S3 .89V, oscillating 3.04V
PP5V_S5 5.01V
PP1V5_S0 0v, oscillating 1.47V
ALL_SYS_PWRGD 0v, oscillating 2.92V

replaces u7200 because when I apply voltage to the PP3V3_S4 mesh the component heats up but still has the same defect.

any idea of can be? oxidation under the PCH? u2600 with some bad terminal or other component?
is there any point that i can apply voltage and identify the defective component?

I would like to know why I have to analyze page 71/72 ? Which different values do you have to give to see that some component is defective? What if it was to reball or change which chip could be the PCH or CPU defect ?
