820-3209 Intermittent Ram 3 Beep

THis Mac works good sometimes, intermittently won't boot and beeps 3X. I tried flux and heat on ram chips @ 200C. they are all getting 1.365V.

Flex cable on this mac is sketchy but I'm guessing there can't be any relevance to the ram voltage or connection? Have a new flex coming soon for it I didn't have any spare for this specific model.

Can you reFLOW ram chips?

Reflow is not a solution.
Sometime can work, but you should tap on top of each chip when balls get melted.

I did reball all 16 chips on 3023 board and it still works after months.
But I'm not so sure if I'll accept to do that again for a client.

THis is mine to refurbish/sell if viable. so can do normal 400C temp to ram chips w/o damaging? I'm thinking this must be intermittent connection... seems to run fine if it boots but there must be something when it does initial check on startup that isn't always producing properly
