820-3330 artifacts (deep black has green screen affect)

Ok so I got this board off eBay and the board show all black as green. I tried 2 known good screens and had the same affect. I Then thought it was a graphics issue so let’s say someone who never replaced a gpu, Replaced it and still have the same issue
:( . The same exact issue.... I’m thinking of replacing the inductor and lvds Connector
Waiting for your guidance
Now to see if that fixes it.

Usually one data line is broken; may be even one ground line paired with data line.
Did you swap entire LCD assembly, including video cable?
Did you check external video before touching GPU?
You also had the option to switch between discrete GPU to iGPU, using gfxcardstatus; easiest way to discard GPU.

Yes I tried a new screen and cable and even put it in a “test” unit where I do all my testing same issue :( . I tried using an external monitor but I think my DisplayPort to hdmi stopped working so I just Said “it has to be gpu” and swapped it.
Can you explain this “graphiccardstatus” is this like a efi fix I don’t like it because they Fail after PRAM and I don’t want people coming back. Ok so this data lines on lvds? I’m not so good at lvds because I only have 2.5mm chisel and my other tips are lost :(

gfxcardstatus is software; put in Google...

You don't need to touch data lines with solder iron yet.
Just check their traces, resistors, capacitors, solders, whatever is there.
Comparing diode mode to ground between data lines is a basic test in such case...

Ok traces look good and tested traces diode mode with working board. The match diode mode. I’m stuck on this one :(

If switch to discrete GPU, same artifacts?
In such case, dificil to believe both discrete GPU and iGPU have the same failure.
If internal LCD and video cable already discarded, then reball/change U9600.
Should still be good to test external video first.

:/ ok I’ll buy a new External display port from Best Buy. I’m sorry but may I ask I’m not in front of a board view At this moment but is u9600? the isl68?? for gpuvcore that’s next to gpu memory? Because I already changed that.

I want to thank you for taking the time out to help me. it actually turned out to be just a faulty connector that was installed. It’s all good now
