820-3330 power on but no chime

820-3330 powers on but no chime and fast fan spin. no beeps with ram removed. the white led just stays a solid white. Heated GPU 100C just to rule out but still same issue. No liquid damage and no previous work.

What to try next? Bios issue??

Do you get all voltages, including CPU VCORE?
Test external video and USB activity.
Bad GPU is possibly.

CPU VCORE steady 1.1V but does not drop

Could still be bad GPU which can block the CPU.
Also CPU, or PCH can be the problem.
Any sign of dropped machine?

With GPU removed still only 1.1V on VCORE. Shouldn't you still get chime without the GPU like on 2915 boards?

Missing GPU can block the communication.
Did you try BIOS?
CPU could be bad, or just a simple corroded resistor....

Same problem with new GPU, VCORE stuck at 1.1V Guess this is a no fix. Board is spotless under microscope so I doubt a corroded resistor is the issue and not worth the time replacing PCH next.
